Welcome to the 2023 USA Pickleball Fortune Tires North Mid-Atlantic Diamond Regional

The tournament will be held at Cranberry Township's beautiful Graham Park! (North of Pittsburgh, PA)

We will have 27 outdoor courts available for tournament play in which 19 of them are dedicated pickleball courts and 8 courts are temporary. Thirteen of the courts have lights. All courts are located together. We also have the option of 6 additional temporary courts at another facility 2 miles away if necessary.

Tournament Description: USA Pickleball North Mid-Atlantic Diamond Regional at Graham Park, Cranberry Township, PA qualifies:

1) All participants for the 2024 USA Pickleball National Championships (Dallas, Texas) in the lottery.

2) Gold and Silver medalists earn a Diamond Passport for pre-registration into the 2023 Diamond Amateur Championships in Pictona in Holly Hill, FL December 3-10.

3) All participants for the 2023 Diamond Amateur Championships in Pictona Lottery

This is a USA Pickleball Sanctioned MMP event. As an MMP sanctioned tournament, all results will be sent to USA Pickleball to be calculated into your UTPR Rating. As an MMP sanctioned tournament all medal matches plus 1 will have a referee. We will also be providing referees for some additional matches. You must have a current USA Pickleball membership to participate in the tournament. To join or renew your membership, please use the following link: https://usapickleball.org. Your membership must be valid through the last day of the tournament.

You may register for one event per day for a total of 3 events for the NMA Diamond Regional. If you register for 1 event in the NMA Diamond Regional Championships you will get a discount code for skinny singles on Thursday, Sept.14, 2023. Format: Double Elimination with 6 or more teams. Round Robin for less than 6 teams.

The Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust brackets and format as needed.

1) Brackets for ages 10-64 will be combined by SKILL level, per USAP guidelines

2) Brackets for ages 65 and over will be combined by AGE level, per USAP guidelines

3) Medals will be awarded in each bracket.

4) Diamond Passports will be awarded to gold and silver medalists in each original, uncombined bracket

Event Schedule:

Thursday, September 14, 2023: CTPA Skinny singles and 2.5 Men's and Women's Doubles. These will not qualify you for the Diamond Championship event. Please register on pickleball brackets: CTPA Skinny singles and 2.5 Men’s and Women’s Doubles. If you are playing in NMA Diamond Regional, you will get a discount code for $25 for skinny singles.

Friday, September 15, 2023: Women's Doubles and Men's Singles

Saturday, September 16, 2023: Mixed Doubles

Sunday, September 17, 2023: Men's Doubles and Women's Singles

Pre-registration: April 16-22. A select group will receive a code by email to pre-register.

Public registration will begin on April 23

Early registration is from April 23 to June 3 for $75

Registration June 4 to Aug 6. for $85

Registration closes Aug 7, 2023.

Start times will be posted approximately one week prior to the tournament start date.

Tournament Fees Explained. There is an $85 registration fee ($75-early registration) plus $15 referee fee and $25 for each event you register. Pickleball Brackets charges $5 for the 1st event and $10 for 2 more events.

YOUR REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL YOU HAVE FULLY PAID, WAIVER SIGNED AND PARTNER REGISTERED AND PAID. IF YOU ARE NOT FULLY PAID WHEN THE EVENT FILLS, YOU WILL BE MOVED TO THE WAIT LIST. Your partner has 7 days to register and pay or you will be automatically moved to the wait list.

We expect a high volume of players for this tournament. We will have a maximum number of teams per event and per day. We highly recommend signing up for the waitlist if registration for your group is full. We will move teams off the waitlist into events as space becomes available.

Cranberry Township is one of the fastest growing communities in Western PA. A progressive and well managed community that puts value into quality of life with its three large parks and municipal golf course. Altogether, Cranberry has over 700 acres in their park system. Cranberry Township Pickleball Association (CTPA) is run by volunteers in partnership with the Cranberry Township Parks & Rec department. Now in its 5th year of operation, CTPA has 1100 members. CTPA is responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the pickleball complex and will have just expanded to 19 courts in which 6 courts will be covered with a seasonal dome for 7/24 indoor winter play. All net proceeds from the tournament go back to CTPA's expansion efforts and to promote pickleball and expand our tournament capabilities. We hope you enjoy your visit with us.

Rules you need to know in advance.

• No campers, tents, or cars overnight in the park. Police patrols hourly.

• Park closes at 10 PM

• No Pets (This is strictly enforced!)

• No alcohol

• Police will ticket your vehicle if it is not parked correctly.

• No smoking or vaping other than parking lots.

• No parking on grass unless given permission to do so.

Facilities:

• Rest room facilities right on site

• Water fountains

• Water bottle refilling fountain.

• Tents can be put up only in grass areas and 10 ft away from the parking lot and side walks. No tents or chairs on parking lot

• Food truck & concessions will be available at your expense.

• No chairs can be placed on the sidewalk, courts or plaza area or parking lot. Lawn chairs only on grass and 3 ft from a sidewalk.

Driver’s License:

• Have your driver’s license with you for registration & check in.

Directions to Graham Park

Graham Park, 260 Graham Park Drive, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066

From Route 19 to Rochester Road. Go about 0.9 miles and at the traffic light make a right on Graham Park Road. Continue about ¼ miles until you see the courts on your right. Go pass the courts and if you are playing that day and have a parking pass make a right into the parking lot. Attendants will verify you are playing and let you in.

Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy

August 21 is the final date to withdraw and receive a refund (less $25 processing fee)

No Refunds requests will be accepted after August 7, 2023

All refunds will be processed after September 18, 2023 (completion of tournament)

Inclement Weather Policy

This is an outdoor tournament with no back up for indoor play. There will be no refunds or credits if the tournament is impacted by weather. We will make every effort to adjust the schedule and format if necessary.
