Victory Pickleball Tournament Rating & Division Placement :
At Victory Pickleball, we are committed to providing fair, competitive, and enjoyable tournament play. Division placement is based on verified player skill levels so that matches are competitive, balanced, and fun for all participants.

1. DUPR Rating Requirements
-Tournament divisions are organized using current DUPR ratings.
-Players should register for divisions that appropriately align with their accurate DUPR level and skill level.
2. DUPR Reliability
-DUPR Reliability under 15% is considered NR (Not Rated).
-It is recommended that NR players consult with a Certified Professional to determine appropriate division placement.
-Victory will not move players based on DUPR ratings with reliability under 15%.
3. Victory Reserves the Rights to Adjust Division Placement
-Victory reserves the right to move players up or down divisions based on their DUPR rating with reliability over 15% and/or their historical play results and demonstrated skill level.
-These decisions ensure fair and balanced tournament play and are final.
4. Partner Rating Rules
When registering as a team, the following rules apply:
-Players may not enter a division lower than either player’s rating.
Example: If one player is 3.8 and the other is 4.1, the team must play in 4.0.
-Teams may not play in a division more than 0.50 above BOTH players’ DUPR ratings.
Example: If one player is 4.2 and the other is 3.9, the team may not enter the 4.5 division.
5. Final Notes
These policies exist to protect competitive integrity and ensure players face opponents of comparable skill.
Tournament staff have final authority on division placement and eligibility.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to:
-Adjust the tournament format
-Merge or cancel divisions
-Modify start times as necessary
-Reassign teams into their correct level based on DUPR rating

Tournament Format
This tournament will use a Round Robin (RR) format, with potential playoffs depending on the number of participants. A minimum of four (4) teams is required per event.
Doubles Format
4 Teams
Round Robin: Games to 15, win by 2 (for seeding)
Playoffs (Double Elimination):
Winners bracket: Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2
Losers bracket: One game to 15, win by 2
5–6 Teams
Round Robin: Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2
No playoffs
7–9 Teams
Round Robin: One game to 15, win by 2
No playoffs
10 Teams
Two Pools (Round Robin): Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2
Top 2 teams from each pool advance to playoffs (best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2)
11–16 Teams
Two Pools (Round Robin): One game to 15, win by 2
Top 2 teams from each pool advance to playoffs (one game to 15, win by 2)
Singles Format
The singles events will follow the same structure as doubles, except when there are only 4 players:
Round Robin: Games to 15, win by 2 (for seeding)
Playoffs (Semi-Finals): Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2
Medal Rounds (Finals): Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2
