All tournament results will be submitted to DUPR. DUPRs will be evaluated based on close of registration.
Teams may choose to compete in a higher-rated event but are not permitted to play in a lower-rated division. Teams can register for higher-rated events within 0.5 points of their DUPR rating, and both players must meet this requirement.
Please register for the division that aligns with your DUPR rating or up to 0.5 points higher. DUPR ratings will be reviewed at registration close to verify that all teams are placed correctly. If a team registers for an incorrect division, the Tournament Director will reassign them based on their current DUPR ratings.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to:
-Adjust the tournament format
-Merge or cancel divisions
-Modify start times as necessary
-Reassign teams into their correct level based on DUPR rating
Tournament Format
This tournament will use a Round Robin (RR) format, with potential playoffs depending on the number of participants. A minimum of four (4) teams is required per event.
Doubles Format
4 Teams
Round Robin: Games to 15, win by 2 (for seeding)
Playoffs (Double Elimination):
Winners bracket: Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2
Losers bracket: One game to 15, win by 2
5–6 Teams
Round Robin: Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2
No playoffs
7–9 Teams
Round Robin: One game to 15, win by 2
No playoffs
10 Teams
Two Pools (Round Robin): Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2
Top 2 teams from each pool advance to playoffs (best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2)
11–16 Teams
Two Pools (Round Robin): One game to 15, win by 2
Top 2 teams from each pool advance to playoffs (one game to 15, win by 2)
Singles Format
The singles events will follow the same structure as doubles, except when there are only 4 players:
Round Robin: Games to 15, win by 2 (for seeding)
Playoffs (Semi-Finals): Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2
Medal Rounds (Finals): Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2
