"KIND IS KOOL"

VAPA is excited to partner with "Kind is Kool", a charitable organization that has been dedicated to supporting individuals in need across Vietnam for several years, to host a pickleball charity tournament and event on March 29th & 30th, 2025, from 1-8PM each day. The tournament will be held at one of the largest pickleball hubs in the country, Los Cab Sports Club in Fountain Valley, California. Our goal is to spread the love for the sport throughout our community and build connections with neighboring communities along the way!

"BRING BACK THE SMILES" All proceeds from the event will go toward our charity project, "Bring Back the Smiles."

Join us for an exciting weekend of pickleball action at the *VAPA Kind is Kool* Double Elimination Tournament! This tournament brings together pickleball enthusiasts of all levels to compete for victory while supporting a fantastic cause. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a newcomer to the sport, this event promises fierce competition, great camaraderie, and a lot of fun.

No matter your experience, you'll find your place in the competition. Categories available for mens, womens, and mixed doubles teams in the following: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5!

Mens Doubles Open Bracket with PRIZE $$$$: Get ready for an extra level of excitement! The Mens Open Bracket offers a chance for top-level mens doubles teams to compete for cash prizes. First place $2,000, Second place $1,000, Third place Paddle giveaway.

**When:** March 29-30, 2025 1:00 pm-8:00 pm

**Where:** Los Cab Sports Club, 17272 Newhope St., Fountain Valley, CA

**Registration Deadline:** March 15, 2025

**Entry Fee:** $50.00 and $35 per event

**Format:** Double Elimination - 1 game to 15, win by 1

The VAPA-Kind is Kool tournament and prize money for this event are being facilitated by Tony Hoang, ensuring a seamless and exciting competition for all participants.

The Tournament Director reserves the right to make adjustments to the tournament at any time in order to ensure a fair and smooth experience for all participants. This may include, but is not limited to:

Adjusting Brackets: The director may modify or reassign brackets as necessary, based on the number of teams or players registered, to ensure balanced competition.

Player Skill Level Adjustment: In the event that players are deemed to be competing in a division that does not match their skill level, the director may move players or teams into a more appropriate division to maintain the integrity of the tournament and provide fair competition for all participants.

Play Format Changes: The director may alter the format of play (e.g., match length, number of games, or rounds) to accommodate scheduling, court availability, or other logistical concerns.

These adjustments will be made at the sole discretion of the Tournament Director and in the best interest of the event. All decisions are final

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We kindly ask that you review our refund policy before registering.

*No refunds will be issued for any reason after the cancellation deadline. (March 14, 2025)

*Approved refunds will be subject to a $15 administrative fee and a $5 service fee.

*Registration fees are non-transferable and cannot be reassigned to another individual.

*All refunds will be processed within one week of tournament completion.

*No refunds will be given due to inclement weather.
