Description
Welcome to the WA Gender and Mixed Doubles Classic 2025 scheduled over 2 days, Saturday the 12th April and Sunday the 13th April 2025.
This event will be hosted at the Nollamara Tennis Club (NTC).
NTC is a licensed venue with a cafeteria, so food and drinks are for available to purchase throughout the day. PAWA plans to host a social event to discuss and debate all things pickleball. PAWA will provide food/nibbles and drinks are available from the NTC bar.
This is a Pickleball Australia SANCTIONED tournament.
This tournament will use the current USA Pickleball (USAPA) rules. They can be found at: https://usapickleball.org/what-is-pickleball/official-rules/

REGISTRATION
Registration Opens: 3rd March, 2025 @ 8am
Registration Closes: 4th April, 2025 @ 8pm
- To register you will need the following;
• Be a PAWA member if a resident of WA; or
• Be a PAA member if an Interstate or International player
• Have a https://pickleballtournaments.com/ login and profile. If you do not have one then go to https://pickleballtournaments.com/ and create one ensuring it contains your contact number, email & PAA ID number.
- You may enter in one event per day.
ENTRY FEES
- Western Australian residents registering must be a PAWA Ordinary member, or PAWA Junior member including PAA membership.
- Registrants from other Australian states, or international must hold current PAA membership.
Standard Registration
- Juniors - $30.00/player includes the 1st event and $20 per event thereafter.
- Adults - $50.00/player includes the 1st event $20 per event thereafter.
EVENTS
- Saturday – Gender Doubles (Adults)
- Sunday - Mixed Doubles (Juniors & Adults)
- Qualifying games will be a round robin format and finals will be elimination
- You can play in more than one event during the tournament but a max of 1 event per day.
- Qualifying & Semi Final matches will be 1 game to 15, win by 2.
- Medal finals matches will be best out of three games to 11, win by 2
- Players are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games per event.
- Medals will be awarded to Gold, Silver and Bronze winning competitors for each bracket.
DELAYS
If you are unavoidably detained and it appears that you will not arrive in time for your game/match, please contact the Tournament Director. We may be able to adjust the schedule and consider options but your game may result in a forfeit.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your game your result may be a forfeit!
