Welcome to the WA Pickleball Championships 2026 scheduled for the 27th & 28th Feb, 1st & 2nd Mar 2026.
PAWA is hosting this tourney at Ocean Ridge Tennis Club. ORTC is an fantastic outdoor venue with a minimum of 20 courts available. It has a cafeteria, so food and drinks (licensed) are available for sale throughout the day with plenty of grass area to set up portable gazebo’s for spectators and ample free parking.
This is a Pickleball Association of Australia (PAA) SANCTIONED tournament.
This tournament will use the current Global Pickleball Federation Rulebook rules.

TO PLAY
- You will need the following;
• Be a current PAWA member if a resident of WA; or
• Be a PA member if an Interstate or International player.
• Have a PickleballBrackets.com login and profile. If you do not have one then go to PickleballBrackets.com and create one ensuring it contains your emergency contact, email & PAA ID number.
• Have a DUPR account. If you do not have one go to https://www.dupr.com/ and create one.
- You may enter in more than one event during the tournament, but all events need to be in a different categories ie 1 x Mixed Doubles, 1 x Doubles, 1 x Singles and 1 x Skinny Singles.
NOTE: There may be an opportunity towards the end of the registration period, dependent on numbers and event clashes, to open this to 2 events in a category ie Doubles >3.5 & Doubles Open.
ENTRY DATES & FEES
Registration Opens at 8am on the 1st Dec 2025
Early Bird Registration Closes at 8 pm on the 18th Jan 2026
Registration Closes at 8pm on the 14th Feb 2026
- Juniors (7yrs to 18yrs) - $30.00/player includes 3 events; $20 per event if entering Adults.
- Adults (19 & Above) Early Bird $60/player; Standard $75/player includes the 1st event; $20 per event thereafter.
EVENTS
- Friday – Singles
- Saturday – Doubles (Adult Events)
- Sunday - Mixed Doubles (Adults) & Junior Doubles Events
- Monday – Skinny Singles (Adults)
- Qualifying games will be a round robin format and finals will be elimination
- You can play in more than one event during the tournament but a max of 1 events per event category.
- Qualifying & Semi Final matches will be 1 game to 15, win by 2. Exception 9 & Under 1 game to 7 win by 1.
- Medal finals matches will be 1 game to 15, win by 2.
- Open Medal finals matches will be best out of three games to 11, win by 2
- Players are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games per event.
- Medals will be awarded to Gold, Silver and Bronze winning competitors for each bracket.
NOTE: We have the playing hours of 8:00am to 10:00pm to work within. How we use these hours will depend on the numbers of players that enter and the weather (Heat/Rain)
DELAYS
If you are unavoidably detained and it appears that you will not arrive in time for your game/match, please contact the Tournament Director. We may be able to adjust the schedule and/or consider options but your game may result in a forfeit.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your game your result may result in a forfeit!
