The Town of Wake Forest is excited to welcome you along with our team of Wake Forest Pickleball Club volunteers to the "Wake Forest 3rd Annual Fall Classic" Tournament.

Payments must be made at the end of your online registration using PayPal or using the PayPal option to pay with a credit card or debit card. You do not need a PayPal account to pay online. A signed waiver is required and can be submitted online. Players 12-17 will need to have a parent or guardian sign a hardcopy waiver at check in.

Registrations before Sept 15, 2023 at 10PM will receive a t-shirt.

More details about the tournament will follow as brackets fill and registration is completed. Our goal is to provide you with a competitive and organized format and a welcoming and a fun environment to test YOUR pickleball skills.

The tournament format will be double elimination. The first match that is played will be best 2 out of 3 games. Each game will play to 11, win by 1. The winners of the match will stay in the winner's bracket and the losers will drop down to the consolation bracket. The winner's bracket will continue with best 2 out of 3 games, win by 1. The consolation bracket will be 1 game played to 15, win by 1. Teams can still win by completing the consolation bracket, then playing the winner of the winner's bracket. The medal rounds will be best 2 out of 3 games, win by 2. To win gold, a team will need to beat the winners twice. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded. Based on the number of registrants, the Tournament Director may make changes to the playing formats.

There will be no refunds. This is an outdoor event with no make-up date. In the event of inclement weather that requires the cancellation of any events, a refund is not available. Thank you for your understanding!
