Wine Country Premier Pickleball exists to serve pickleball players from the greater Wine Country area in Northern CA, including the North, South, and East Bay, the greater Sacramento region, NorCal up through Redding, and everywhere in between.
The Fall Classic Pickleball tournament in Santa Rosa, CA will seek to provide a professional, community-driven experience for NorCal competitive players looking for a well-run, full-service tournament at an affordable price. Included in your registration fee you will receive a free tournament T-shirt (tank option for ladies), free lunch (Fri-Sun) for all players and their fans, free player snacks, cold purified water, medals for bracket winners, and a free bottle of local wine for medal winners.
A myriad of local and regional sponsors will be on hand to offer merchandise and player services. Raffle baskets will be offered via ticket sales. All proceeds from the raffle baskets will be a pass-through donation to Sonoma County Pickleball Club, Ltd for the Santa Rosa Permanent Complex Fund. Wine Country Premier Pickleball supports fundraising efforts to build more facilities to accommodate the exploding population of local pickleball players.
SANCTIONING AND REFEREES
We have been approved by USA Pickleball for this to be a fully sanctioned event. We will have a full slate of USA Pickleball Certified, Level 2, and Level 1 Referees to referee every match, every day.

USA Pickleball Membership (Champion level) valid through September 15, 2024 is required to participate in this tournament per sanctioning rules. You can sign up for membership at https://usapickleball.org/memberships/ . UTPR Ratings are used by pickleballbrackets.com for tournament seeding. Please contact usapickleball.org for concerns or changes to skill rating as we do not have access to player profiles.
REGISTRATION
$65 Early Bird Registration for the first 100 players to register begins June 21, 2024.
$75 Regular Registration runs through September 4, 2024.
Event Fee is $20 per registered event.
Registration and event fees are per player.
A team is not considered fully registered until both players are registered and fully paid. Teams that are not full may be moved to the waitlist at any time dependent on registration demand for individual events. .
Please note that PickleballBrackets.com charges an additional $5 non-refundable service fee per event with a $10 cap. This fee is directed through the software and is outside of our control.

A player may only play in ONE event per day.
Please note that for Friday Womens Doubles 3.0 and 3.5 and Sunday Mens Doubles 3.5 and 4.0 events, at least one player must meet the age requirement to be able to register in a given age bracket. Any player or team that does not meet this criteria will be moved to the waitlist immediately (both players must be named at time of registration). Thursday events are available for 55+ teams at these skill levels.
BRACKET FORMATS
1-2 registered teams - Combined with another bracket
3 registered teams - Either combined with another bracket or played as Double Round Robin
4-5 registered teams - Round Robin leading to medal rounds for top four teams
6+ registered teams - Double Elimination with come-around Consolation bracket leading to medal rounds
Our OPEN Prize Money events are intended for the highest skill level players with a rating of 4.0 and above with 4.0 set as the minimum rating for registration into these events (some exceptions may apply at the Tournament Directors' discretion).
Brackets may be combined or further broken up based on registration demand.
As a waitlist develops we will be managing bracket sizes to accommodate demand.
Bracket maximums may be adjusted from registration opening to day of play.
Tournament Directors reserve the right to modify formats as necessary based on registrations.
Tournament Directors reserve the right to move players to a more appropriate skill level when deemed necessary per USA Pickleball Tournament Director guidelines.
All players will be held to the Player Code of Conduct.
