The WPA California State Championships are over 2 weekends Saturday July 12 Women's and Men's Doubles events and Saturday for AGE/Skill Skill events) Played at Eldorado Tennis and Pickleball center Long Beach from 8.30am.

Sunday july 20th for Mixed Doubles and singles in the morning.

Please note Sunday July 20 is played at Dignity Health Sports park , Carson.

This is a Tier 1 WPA tournament Sanctioned with DUPR .

We offer round robin for a maximum of 8 pairs per 3 or 4 courts to ensure a minimal waiting time between matches.

All events up to 4 pairs is double round robin to 11 win by 2 ( switch ends first to 6 points )

For 5 or more pairs is single round robin to 11 win by 2 ( switch ends first team to 6 points)

Then split into Medal events 1 vs 2 for Gold and 3 vs 4 for Bronze medals.

Anticipate a 3-hour event, particularly if you make the final medal playoff.

The reason we are splitting over 2 weeks is to give players more recovery time and peak performance as we found some players who played 2 days in a row either pull out due to injury or fatigue from playing the day before. Also, the week before you can focus on practicing with your men's or women's doubles partner, then the following week practice with your mixed partner, and the following week practice singles.

Ball used is Engage a USA Pickleball approved ball.

For Moneyball events, there is an additional event fee of $30 PP, which is added by the number of players entered and then split as $60 % for Gold, 30% for Silver, and 10% for Bronze.

Gold Medalists receive a $50 discount and Silver and Bronze medalists receive $40 discount

Credit to another WPA Tournament (www.worldpickleballtournaments.com) or a $ refund is available due to your event cancelled due to lack of numbers and we can't offer you another event.

Any $ Refunds for sickness or injury are available with a Doctors certificate .
