Tournament Description
Come to California's Central Coast & join us for the 2025 Zin 2 Win Tournament, in the heart of wine country. March is a beautiful time of year in the Templeton region - wineries are celebrating Paso Heritage Month, and there is a lot going on. Come join us for 3 days of pickleball in a round robin tournament, with a medal bracket to follow the round robin. First event included with registration!
Friday, March 14th - Men's & Women's Singles & Mini-Singles, all Rally Scoring
Saturday, March 15th - Men's & Women's Doubles
Sunday - March 16th - Mixed Doubles
Registration: $80, includes referee fee & first event
This is a non-sanctioned tournament, but will be run as an MMP level event, with referees for all medal rounds.
Additional Information
Registration is completed by DUPR skill level. WinBy2 Pickleball promises to keep age groups as tight as possible, with a minimum of 4 teams per age division. Groups with less than 4 teams/players will be combined to create viable brackets at the discretion of the Tournament Director. Start times for brackets to be posted on March 10th, subject to change until the day before play.
Zin 2 Win will be a Round Robin, with the top 4 teams in each division advancing to a single elimination bracket. All doubles matches will be games to 15, except the Gold Medal matches, which will be a 2/3 to 11 format. All singles matches will be rally scoring games to 21, except the Gold Medal match, which will be 2/3 to 15 format.
3 teams/players: Double Round Robin, games to 15, WinBy2, top 2 compete for Gold, third place in RR wins Bronze
4 teams/players: Double Round Robin, games to 15, WinBy2, top 2 complete for Gold, others compete for Bronze
5-7 teams/players: Round Robin, games to 15, WinBy2, top 4 advance to medal round
8 or more teams will play pools, with the top 2 finishers in each pool advancing to the medal bracket. Above formats apply to pool groups.
