COME TO COMPETE in any of our 4 Events - Singles, Skinny Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas October 18-20, 2024! Players who are Seniors may play with a partner 49 & Under which is called a Hybrid.

Schedule of Events:

October 17, Thursday from 3:00 - 9:00 PM - Practice on 7 lighted courts and 7 unlighted courts. Practice on all courts Friday - Saturday after Match Play until 9:00 pm.

October 18, Friday - Men's and Women's Singles and Skinny Singles (2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+) Round Robin - No Pool Play. Each skill group within the age will receive medals for each group of 5 - 6 teams within the skill group.

(Explanation of Skinny Singles - Players play half of the court. The games depend on the score of the server and the returner to determine where each player starts the point. If the score is 2 - 2, the server and returner will be playing from the right court (cross-court). The serve is cross-court. If the score is 3 - 2, the server will be playing from the left court and the returner will be playing from the right court (down-the-line) The serve is down-the-line.

October 19 - Men's & Women's Skill/Age Round Robin Doubles (Skills 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+) No Pool Play. Each skill group within the age will receive medals for each group of 5 - 6 teams within the skill group.

Entertaining Pickleball Players is the awesome team of "Weathers & Wellfed"classical country, jazz, and blues 4:00-6:00 pm (Clampit's Country Kitchen will have there food truck there during dinner hours. Bring your own drinks, and lawn chair. We also have other chairs.

October 20 - Mixed Doubles Skill/Age Round Robin Doubles (2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+) No Pool Play. Each skill group within the age will receive medals for each group of 5 - 6 teams within the skill group.

Events may be merged or split based on registration numbers and age. Players with smaller Round Robin Groups will play 2-3 games win by 2 points or 1-5 win by 2 points if groups are larger than 5 Teams.

(Tournament Director reserves the right to combine age groups and skill groups to distribute teams more evenly within the brackets based on participation. Registration will close when the tournament director deems the day's events are full)

USSP has a points system to award prizes to the top finishers each year (USSP members only). In the past, prizes with a retail value of $20,000 were awarded to the top 10 point winners in each age group for both men and women on an annual cycle. In 2024, the prize points will begin in February and run through the end of December.

All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games per event. Brackets entries 4 and under will play round robin to 11, win by 2 or Double Round Robin. Brackets entries 5 and more will play round robin to 15, win by 2.

Refunds will be available up to 2 weeks before the tournament registration closing. All refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee plus $5 service fee. Emergency refunds will be issued based on documentation and tournament director approval. October 12 cutoff date for refunds.
