City of Westminster Recreation and Parks proudly presents, Pickle in the Park Tournament on May 31 & June 1, 2025, with a rain date of June 7-8, 2025.
Saturday, May 31: Women's and Men's Doubles
Sunday, June 1: Mixed Doubles
Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles will start at 8:30 AM on their respective day. Men's Doubles will start around 12:30 PM on Saturday, May 31. This is a double elimination event.
Cost: $50 first event, $10 for second event (plus, non-refundable $5 software fee per event)
Brackets will be determined by the number of participants entered for each skill level then divided by age. Player levels/brackets may be adjusted/combined at tournament director discretion (age and skill level). Pickleball uses a rating system to rank picklers from beginners to experts. Ratings go from Level 1.0 (beginner) to Level 5.0 (top players). Player's will self-rate for this tournament. Need help? Please visit: https://pickleball.land/pickleball-ratings-explained. This is a Non-sanctioned event, the ball used is Franklin X-40, Green. Registration includes unisex t-shirt, winners’ medals, giveaways and refreshments.
Location is Westminster City Park (11 Longwell Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157), between Winters Street and Long Alley. Registration closes May 9, 2025. Each player must register individually.
When you register, if your partner does not register within 10 days, you will be moved to the waitlist, but as soon as your partner registers you will automatically be moved back into the bracket if there are openings still available.
Rain date for the event is June 7 and 8.
