Life Time Loudoun is thrilled to introduce the Gherkin Invitational Grind — a weekly gameplay series leading up to our first-ever Gherkin Invitational Tournament, happening in June! Participation is open to both members and non-members.

Each week, players can sharpen their competitive edge, build their DUPR profiles, and climb the ranks. The top 8 teams (based on the total games won/total games played percentage) will earn a free invite to the final Gherkin Invitational Tournament to showcase their skills.

Session Information:

• The first session costs $10 for members and $25 for non-members. Each additional session is $20 for all players.

• Players must register with their doubles partner.

• Each 1.5-hour session features 5 games (first to 11, win by 2). Sessions start at 6:00PM, 7:30PM, or 9:00PM.

• A minimum of 4 teams is required to run a session.

To qualify for a free entry into the Gherkin Invitational Tournament:

• Play at least 4 sessions with the same partner — feel free to play more sessions if you like!

• Finish in the top 8 teams, ranked by win percentage (total games won divided by total games played).

Gherkin Invitational Grind Sessions and Tournament Schedule:

• Men’s Intermediate Doubles DUPR (3.0-3.5) – Monday Sessions at 6pm and 7:30pm and tournament on June 16th at 6pm

• Women’s Intermediate Doubles DUPR (3.0-3.5) – Tuesday Sessions at 6pm and tournament on June 24th at 6pm

• Women’s Advance Doubles DUPR (3.5+) – Tuesday Sessions at 7:30pm and tournament on June 17th at 6pm

• Men’s Advance Doubles DUPR (3.5-4.0) – Wednesday Sessions at 6pm and tournament on June 25th at 6pm

• Men’s Competitive Doubles DUPR (4.0+) – Wednesday Sessions at 7:30pm and tournament on June 18th at 6pm

• Mixed Intermediate Doubles DUPR (3.0-3.5) – Thursday Sessions at 7:30pm and tournament on June 26th at 6pm

• Mixed Advance Doubles DUPR (3.5+) – Thursday Sessions at 6pm and tournament on June 19th at 6pm

In Pickleballbrackets.com, players must join Life Time Ashburn-Sterling club by clicking "Clubs" then search by "Ashburn-Sterling." Members, please make sure your member id is in your player profile.

Players must join TeamReach for event communication, group code "LTPBLoudoun."

Players must also have a DUPR account before playing their first match and join “Life Time Loudoun” club. DUPR is a Pickleball global rating system.

Cancellations 48 hours before session start will be refunded (minus $5.00 credit card fee).

If needed, players may use a substitute with a similar DUPR rating, pending approval by the Tournament Manager.
