This is a PRIVATE CLUB TOURNAMENT for Hollyburn Members only.
The Hollyburn Country Club Dink and Drinks MS Charity Fall Classic to be held September 15th - 17th 2023 is our first Fall pickleball tournament where all surplus funds will be donated to MS Canada. Here is a summary of some of the highlights:
1. Held on our 4 dedicated outdoor pickleball courts. In the event of rain, we have the gym and new Hub (repurposed curling rink/turf courts) reserved indoors at certain times. If inside expect some consolidation of events and services
2. This is a charity tournament to the benefit of MS Canada. All surplus funds will go to that registered charity, plus we will have pledge sheets for those players, guests and others who may want to pledge more
3. Guests are all welcome to watch and bleachers will be available if you don’t bring your own foldable chair
4. Multiple gender and skill-based categories, and a Senior’s event. PLEASE NOTE: only one event per player in the Super Seniors Event
5. New this tournament: we have added a 2.5 event for those who have never been in a tournament, are not skill ranked yet and just want to have fun and try out the tournament experience – families are encouraged to try it out!!!
6. Other plans are in the works which may include but are not limited to an antique car exhibition, and a Pro Demo Match – but the focus is on fun and playing pickleball!
Payments will not be made through Pickleball Brackets - all fees (plus GST) will be charged to member accounts when registration closes on September 11th and player's check in.
Final details including but not limited to Event scheduling, tournament draws, concise Player Instructions and Sportsmanship Guidelines and other info will be published in advance of the tournament.
