Christmas in July Charity Pickleball Tournament
Help us spread some holiday cheer to local families in need!
Join us for a fun-filled pickleball tournament with all proceeds going towards providing Christmas for less fortunate families in Licking County.
Tournament Details:
Dates: Saturday, July 27th: Men's Doubles & Women's Doubles
Sunday, July 28th: Mixed Doubles
Location: 936 Sharon Valley Road, Newark, OH 43055
Tournament Format: USA Pickleball Association Official Tournament Rules Apply. (Even though this is not a sanctioned event)
Men's Doubles: (Played on Saturday, July 27)
4.0 Skill Level (8 Teams Max) - Top 3 finishers earn Gold, Silver, Bronze medals.
3.5 Skill Level (16 Teams Max) - Top 3 finishers earn Gold, Silver, Bronze medals.
3.0 Skill Level (8 Teams Max) - Top 3 finishers earn Gold, Silver, Bronze medals.
Women's Doubles: (Played on Saturday, July 27)
4.0 Skill Level (8 Teams Max) - Top 3 finishers earn Gold, Silver, Bronze medals.
3.5 Skill Level (16 Teams Max) - Top 3 finishers earn Gold, Silver, Bronze medals.
3.0 Skill Level (8 Teams Max) - Top 3 finishers earn Gold, Silver, Bronze medals.
Mixed Doubles: (Played on Sunday, July 28th)

General Tournament Rules:
-Round Robin play for all groups unless otherwise announced.
-Games to 11 points, win by 2.
-Ranking determined by Win/Loss record. Ties are broken by head-to-head record, then points for, then points against.
-One person from each team verifies the score after each game by signing initials on the scorecard.
-Play only on assigned courts unless approved by the tournament director.
-Do not start play until the scoresheet is delivered to your court.
-First team to reach 6 points initiates side change.
-Two standard, one-minute timeouts per game.
-Standard serving procedures (#1 or #2 determines which team selects serve or side).
