SKILL LEVEL
Pickleballtournaments.com requires that you “self-rate” your skills as you set up your profile. If you have a DUPR account, be sure to check your player profile for your self-rating on pickleballtournaments.com, as it should not be lower than your DUPR.
Unsure which skill event to sign up for? Use this as a guide:
3.0 Event: DUPR rating between 2.75-3.24
3.5 Event: DUPR rating between 3.25-3.74
4.0 Event: DUPR rating between 3.75-4.24
4.5 Event: DUPR rating above 4.25
DUPR ratings will be used to seed pools. The match coordinator reserves the right to move you to another skill level based on your DUPR rating, especially if your rating is more than .5 above the event bracket you registered for.
