The Atlantic Union Bank Performance Series!

We've once again partnered with <a href="https://www.atlanticunionbank.com/">Atlantic Union Bank</a> to bring you the 2026 Atlantic Union Bank Performance Series, a series of major tournaments run by Performance Pickleball at both indoor and outdoor venues throughout the year.

Participate, play and place on the podium in each of the Atlantic Union Bank Performance Series tournaments and earn Atlantic Union Bank Challenge standings points! Top points earners and standings finishers will be awarded prizes at the end of the year!

📝 TOURNAMENT INFO:

The tournament will be held at the pickleball courts at the newly-renovated <a href="https://www.visitroanokeva.com/listings/james-i-moyer-sports-complex/6985/">James I. Moyer Sports Complex</a> in Salem, VA with Skill & Age divisions in Men's, Women's & Mixed Doubles and Men's, Women's & Mixed Split Age Doubles. Matches will take place on 13 dedicated outdoor pickleball courts. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams/players in each bracket!

📊 Age Divisions: • 19+, 35+, 50+, 60+, Split Age • Also BACK this year, Men's, Women's & Mixed Split Age Doubles! • Split Age teams must consist of one player Under 50 and one player 50 And Over • Minimum age to participate is 12; Please contact us for exceptions

🔔 Bracket Schedule & Start Times Will Be Released the Week of the Tournament

💳 TOURNAMENT FEES:

The registration cost is $60 per player with a $15 per event fee for all Skill & Age events. There is also a PB/PT non-refundable service fee of $5 per event or a maximum of $10 when registering for 2 or more events.

Registration includes a tournament t-shirt! Please be sure to indicate your shirt size during the registration process. Late or last-minute registrants may not be guaranteed a t-shirt and/or desired shirt size, so be sure to SIGN UP EARLY!

📋 RULES / FORMAT:

This is a non-sanctioned tournament that will be following <a href="https://usapickleball.org/docs/rules/USAP-Official-Rulebook.pdf">USAP 2026</a> rules. There will be a Certified Head Referee onsite to officiate Gold Medal matches and assist players with any rules questions throughout the tournament weekend.

Both <a href="https://equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list/">USAP Approved Paddles</a> and <a href="https://upaa.unitedpickleball.com/approved-paddles/">UPA-A Approved Paddles</a> will be allow for use in competition except those that are currently or that have been banned or delisted in the past.

All Skill & Age brackets will be round robin with a single elimination bracket round and/or medal matches to be played immediately following the completion of round robin play.

Round Robin Match (depending on the size of the bracket and/or pools): • 1 game to 15 win by 2; or • 1 game to 11 win by 2; or • best 2/3 games to 11 win by 2

Quarterfinal/Semifinal Bracket Match: • 1 to 15 win by 2; or • best 2/3 to 11 win by 2

Bronze Medal Match: • 1 to 15 win by 2; or • best 2/3 to 11 win by 2

Gold Medal Match: • best 2/3 to 11 win by 2

📈 DUPR RATINGS:

The rating used for this tournament will be DUPR and all match scores and results will be automatically entered into DUPR. Please be sure to connect your DUPR account to your Pickleball.com account to ensure reporting accuracy.

📌 NOTICE:

For doubles events, priority will be given to teams that have both partners registered. Teams with only one partner registered and players with no designated partner will be waitlisted and will not be guaranteed a spot in the bracket. To secure your spot in a doubles bracket, please make sure that both you and your partner are registered.

Skill & Age groups may be combined at our discretion to create brackets as needed based on the number of registered teams/players. We also reserve the right to adjust the bracket and match formats as necessary.

Refund Policy

⛔ THE CANCELLATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2026

Full refunds minus the PB/PT non-refundable service fees are available through this date. After this date, no refunds will be issued for cancellations or withdrawals. For extenuating circumstances, please contact us for review.

You can park on Thirlane Road as long as all 4 tires are on the grass. Please DO NOT park at area businesses or on Tom Andrews Road. YOU MAY BE TICKETED OR TOWED! 🥒 Food Policy: No Outside Food Please keep in mind that we have a NO OUTSIDE FOOD policy. Food & drinks are available for purchase at Kitchen ROA, our in-house bar & kitchen. We will do our best to get in as much of the tournament as possible if there are any delays caused by weather.
