"Service Above Self". For more than a century, the Rotary Club of Fayetteville has carried out the Rotary International motto of "Service Above Self" to help make our community and world a better place. The Annual Battle for the Paddle Charity Classic is a fundraiser to support the Rotary Club of Fayetteville's community service and support. These include Rotary Youth Exchange, student scholarships to the UA, the Rotary Playground at Mt. Kessler Park, helping prevent and eradicate Polio worldwide, Medical Supplies Network, Inc., partnering with the City of Fayetteville to host the annual Trick-or-Treat on the Trail at the Ramble, the Arbor at the Botanical Gardens, supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities, local food pantries, including the Rotary Club of Fayetteville Little Food Pantry, and donations to scores of area charitable organizations, and more. The annual "Battle for the Paddle" Pickleball is a fun, high quality tournament for all ages as well as a way to further "Service Above Self".

This tournament will include all ages with the 50+ playing in one tournament, and the 49 and below playing in another one concurrently.
Additional Information
USSP has a points system to award prizes to the top finishers each year (USSP members only). In the past, prizes with a retail value of $20,000 were awarded to the top 10 point winners in each age group for both men and women on an annual cycle. In 2025, the prize points will begin in February and run through the end of December.
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games per event. Brackets with entries 3 will play a double round robin to 15 win by 2, 4 entries will play a double round robin to 15 win by 2, 5-7 entries will play games to 15 win by 2, 8-9 teams will play round robin with games to 11 win by 2. 10 and over will have pool play games to 15 win by 2, then have medal matches with the winning teams from each pool playing for gold and silver medals, while the 2nd place teams from each pool play for the bronze medals.
No cash will be awarded
Refund Policy
Refunds will be available up to 2 weeks before the tournament registration closing on March31, 2025 at 12:00pm. All refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee plus $5 service fee. Emergency refunds will be issued based on documentation and tournament director approval.
