Welcome to the January Pickleball Jam hosted by Powerful Fitness Pickleball in Support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

This is a ONE day pickleball tournament featuring Mixed Doubles (morning) and Gender Doubles (afternoon). Levels of play will be 3.0/3.5/4.0/4.5+. Based on registration numbers, every level will feature round robin play, with playoffs IF multiple round robins required within a level. The Tournament Director reserves the right to change format and/or combine levels depending on registration and schedule.

Cost for this tournament is a registration fee of 40, then 10 for each 3.0-4.0 event, so two events would be 60. The Prize Money 4.5+ level will be 20 per event, so for two 4.5+ events, cost is 80. Payment is due at registration.

Will we offer Open Play at Chicken N Pickle Kansas City (5 minutes away near Armour Rd.) the day before on Friday January 14th, from 3 to 5:30pm. This is included up the cost of registration and is optional to attend. If we have more players than court spots we will stack paddles on the central table. Signing up with a partner is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED in order to reserve your spot. If you sign up without a partner, you have 4 days for the partner to register and pay before being bumped to the waiting list, if complete teams are waiting for a spot.

If you do not have a pickleball brackets rating (many will not), please use your UTPR rating. If you do not have a UTPR rating from USA Pickleball, or it is HIGHLY inaccurate, you may self rate. Playing up from your rating is allowed, but playing down is not. The Tournament Director reserves the right to move a player from a level if it is below their UTPR.

In the event that you withdraw from this tournament, a 10 dollar fee will be withheld per person. Any withdrawals after 1/07/22 will receive NO refund.
